Ignatian approach

What distinguishes the Forum from other faith and work groups is that it is grounded in an effective, imaginative Ignatian spirituality. At the heart of each meeting is an Ignatian meditation that provides the starting place for a discussion on a work-related issue. Participants have found that the Ignatian approach makes a useful springboard for group discussion, and provides a welcome opportunity for reflection rather than analysis.

Small groups of 8 to 12 people meet monthly, 8 times a year. There are different models for meeting; perhaps over breakfast and before work or in the early evening or on Saturday or even Sunday before worship. We have discovered that it is helpful for members to have roughly similar levels of responsibility in their firms or institutions. Before each meeting members will receive relevant materials to aid reflection and discussion.
